DIRECTV

This was a big one – in terms of both scope and importance. AT&T was putting DIRECTV up for sale and needed to rebrand the satellite and streaming service. Everything under the brand needed to change for the new owner transition. Naturally, they turned to their longtime partner JxTwo.

We staffed up with a team of designers to evolve the DIRECTV brand, leaning into their legacy while offering a fresh, contemporary look and feel. A new logo was already in place, which would help inspire the huge amount of brand elements we were tasked with creating.

We developed the “Beam it. Stream it.” tagline, a comprehensive style guide that informed every aspect of design and photography, app UI design, logos and naming for key departments, equipment packaging, uniforms – and that’s just scratching the surface.

We were named agency of record for the next two years, working on digital marketing campaigns and continuing to support the rebrand. A massive project, and our hard work paid off – the AT&T team credited us with helping them sell DIRECTV at a premium.
