MAXIM SUPERBOWL EVENT
Celebrity alert! Longtime client DIRECTV had an opportunity to host a star-studded 2-night Super Bowl event prior to the big game in 2022. Attendees would include Heidi Klum, Kurt Warner, and Dak Prescott, with musical hosts Tiesto, 50 Cent, and the Chainsmokers.
We needed to evolve the DIRECTV brand to align with the sex appeal of both MAXIM and the superstar crowd. We began by embracing the contemporary D icon, which came to dramatic, animated life in an “activation tunnel”. From there, we created just about everything: billboards, NFTs, a drone show, concert risers, video playback, social engagement, swag – even wrapping some of the latest electric BMWs.
An over-the-top blue carpet experience, and a truly fun project to work on – even if we did only get a shoulder brush with 50 Cent.
